I have always had a connection with nature since I was young. I had several acres of woods to travel in my youth and I was always outside. It wasn’t until I was an adult that I realized a different path was possible. I studied and walked that path for several years. My studies were grounded in nature, shamanism, and wicca.
I took a step back for awhile persuing a path that I had to follow.
In recent years nature has been beckoning to me and I decided it was best for me to listen.
I came upon AODA in a chance happening and I thought long and hard as well as researched what it represented and was all about.
I made the decision and joined recently and since I have been happy.
I have begun my studies and reading to establish my knowledge within the order as well as focusing my time within nature and cultivating the neglected part of myself. All I can say is I wish when I first began my journey down the paths I have walked that I found AODA first. I feel that from what I have already experienced this is a place where I can belong. The central focus as well as the overall character and views of the AODA I have shared and never seen properly brought into the world.
I look forward to expanding my knowledge and cultivating what is ahead.
