I began my spiritual journey in 1994. Over the decades, I have trained in various forms of trancework and healing, including with teachers and mentors from Belize, Guatemala, and the United States. I have also spent a number of years practicing Chan Buddhism (aka Zen), and consider myself (among other things) a philosophical Taoist. However, when pressed, I consider myself, first and foremost, a spirit-taught Animist. Through Otherworldly journeys and direct communication with the spirits of the land, tress, rocks, water, my drum, rattle, totems, and more, I have been granted chants, songs, rituals, ceremonies, and specific healing techniques, which all focus on Earth Healing. Personally, I see no difference between the physical and spiritual, or the mind, body, and spirit, and Earth. Honestly, I do not believe in an individual soul (or self) but rather only find a profound Oneness with Earth and all of the processes of Nature. I believe that all things exist solely as processes of chaos and order, birth and death, destruction and creation, and darkness and lightness, which, of course, are all relative and bound one to the other, like the Taoist concept of Yin and Yang. I have been drawn to Druidry for decades and have been included in several Druidic gatherings over the years. Finally, given the nature of my mostly solitary practice to date, I decided to join AODA for a sense of community and companionship on my path.
