Oi, first thing: I’ve never liked these “about me” things, but I’ll give it a go…

I live smack-dab in the middle of the California Central Valley and would LOVE to move to a cooler climate (Alaska? Montana? I dunno. Hot flashes are killing me).
But I’ve lived in and around here my entire life and the plants and landscape are old friends, so we’ll see.
I’ve explored/dabbled in the path of nature spirituality for over a decade, but at the beginning of 2022 finally decided to take it seriously.
I’m currently working through the initial grades of Dolmen Arch course, and I can honestly say it’s transformed my life.
And last month for the first time in almost twenty years I finished a backpacking trip with my husband and our two boys. It was a short distance, but lots of elevation changes and a BREATHTAKING experience.
And I made a new friend out there- a stunning juniper tree growing at the edge of a cliff. She overlooks a broad vista of granite and Lodgepole Pine, and has a spirit of incredible generosity.
