AODA Workshops for Spring 2026

Hi all! Here is our next set of online events. Hope to see you there!

Events open to the Public

Solar Currents: AODA Monthly Astrological Overview(April 2, May 7, June 4– 8:15-9:45pm Eastern)

With Robert Pacitti, Grand Pendragon

Come join us on the first Thursday of every month for a welcoming and enriching exploration of the cosmic weather ahead. Hosted by Robert Pacitti, professional astrologer and Grand Pendragon of the Ancient Order of Druids in America, these sessions will highlight the major astrological transits of the month, explore how they may influence our personal signs, and offer a touch of astrological and astronomical teachings to deepen understanding.

Solar Currents will also be a space for open conversation. Astrologers of all backgrounds and modalities are invited to share brief insights, making each session a tapestry of perspectives and wisdom. Whether you’re just beginning your astrological journey or have years of experience, you’ll find community, insight, and inspiration here.

While it would be helpful to have a copy of your astrological chart, or know your Sun, Moon, and Ascendant signs, no astrology experience is necessary to fully take part in these events. We will be holding true to our “no politics in public forums” policy for these sessions, and will be focusing on the personal and spiritual experience. While these sessions are hosted by the Ancient Order of Druids in America, all are welcome!

Writing and Facilitating Meaningful Group Rituals –June 11th, 2026 – 8:30 – 10:00 pm ET

With Dana O’Driscoll, Grand Archdruid and Tyler Vanice, Ovate Adept and AODA Groups Coordinator

Writing meaningful group rituals is an important part of growing a local and healthy local druid community. In this workshop, we will break down the core concepts in writing and facilitating group rituals of any size, by focusing in three areas. purpose and goals; the building blocks of a successful group ritual; and personal and group dynamics. A large portion of this workshop will be focused on the building blocks of good ritual writing, offering templates, and how to take an idea and make it work with a group. We will discuss the AODA’s Seven Element framework and Sphere of Protection as a meaningful building block for ritual, among other approaches. For those who have a local group, want to start a local group, or want to offer a gathering, this will be an excellent foundation to deepen your ritual writing practice.

GCC Virtual Communion Celebrations (April 18th, May 16th, June 20 @ 8pm ET)

With Chris Albrecht*, Gnostic Celtic Church Assistant Preceptor and AODA Ovate-Bard-Druid Companion*

Communion is one of the primary rituals practiced by individuals in the Gnostic Celtic Church. Communion invites all participants to experience the harmony of nature and spirituality. The bread and the wine represent the fruit of the earth, while the Awen embodies the living essence of inspiration found in all existences. Through the consecration and partaking of the elements, the participants affirm the sacredness of nature and spirit.

GCC is now offering a virtual communion on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 8:00 PM Eastern. Google Meet links can be found below. Participants are encouraged to bring: Sacred Grove Opening supplies (feather/incense, candle, water, soil/salt) and Communion Supplies (a cracker/bread, a few ounces of wine/juice, a few ounces of water, a seasonal colored candle, and a lighter/matches).

Upcoming dates include:

  • April 18th, 2026 @ 8PM ET

  • May 16th, 2026 @ 8PM ET
