Druid Festival - Hudson Valley- NYC

Hello, my fellow Druid friends,

I hope you’re all feeling fantastic this morning. As we find ourselves in the middle of the month, I’m feeling especially inspired and wanted to share some exciting news.

I’m currently planning and project managing a Druid Festival for the June Solstice 2026 in the — in the NYC metro - specifically in Hudson Valley/Nyack area. I’ll be co-creating this gathering with another Druid owner of Modern Druid- Nyack and together we hope to build something meaningful, nature-honoring, and community-centered.

I would love to hear from any of you who have organized a Druid or earth-based festival before. How did you structure it? What worked well for you? What would you recommend avoiding? My aim is to keep the entire event as eco-conscious, environmentally safe, and thoughtfully designed as possible.

If you’re willing to share your experiences, insights, or suggestions, I would be deeply grateful.

Otherwise, keep an eye out for the first of many Druid festivals to come in the New York region starting June 2026.

Many blessings,
Stephen

Those are some really big questions. It would take some long posts to answer them, lol. Have you attended any Druid events, or other pagan events? Pagan Pride? I would recommend you attend events before you try to host one yourself.

Good to hear from you, fisherKm,

If you have the time, write a long post or we can connect in a different way will be great. I can connect via phone, email, ect.

In regards to Pagan Pride, do you know of one in the NYC or north east region of the US that is coming up that you recommend?

Thanks,
Stephen

Also, yes ! I have Attend pagan events - Druid events are few and far between in my area hence my outreach.

I’ve attended a number of events but I haven’t run any myself, although I’ve participated in the planning and staffing of a local Pagan Pride. Beth Mowry of the Awen Center might be a better resource, as far as advice. As noted on Facebook, she’s having an event the same weekend. The annual Ecosophia potluck in Rhode Island is also Midsummer weekend, maybe expanded to a 3-day event next year.

It seems like NYC must have a Pagan Pride! Philly has a big one in September, so does Syracuse. We have one in Wilkes-Barre, August 1, 2026.

It might help to say what kind of events, activities you have in mind, and then I could respond based on my experience.
