Last weekend we finish building the Medicine Wheel in Patterson NY by placing the Spirit Pathways rocks and then walked the medicine wheel. It was the first time that I used the Opening of the Grove Ceremony, which blended with the Native American Philosophies very nicely. Photos are of the Medicine wheel and me drumming while people connected to the wheel. Pondhawk

This is beautiful, thank you for sharing. I’ve never helped make a medicine wheel like that before - maybe some day though.
There is a lot of good overlap with the work of the AODA. The first time I read the grove ceremony, and pictured the lines we walked, it reminded me of the medicine wheel. The alter in the center, the line of air, fire, earth, and water as it moves from the alter to the direction and around the circle.
