It was really wonderful having this month’s Druid Roundtable, and thank you so much to everyone who joined — even if you dropped off partway through!
We host the Roundtable once a month, usually on the first Sunday of each month at 6:30 PM. It’s based in Nyack, NY, but we also meet online via Zoom, so anyone can join in.
We’re always looking to improve the online experience, so if you had any tech issues or ideas for how we can make it more engaging, please let us know! We’d love to hear your feedback.
The Roundtable isn’t directly affiliated with AODA, but it’s a space for Druids to connect, share, and support one another. We start with a short meditation, talk about what’s going on in our Druid lives (whether Bardic, Ovate, or Druid), and sometimes do a simple group activity.
Each month we also invite someone from our community to share something they’re working on — a creative project, study, or personal insight. If you’d like to present next time, reach out!
Our next gathering will be on Sunday, November 2nd at 6:30 PM.
You can sign up on our webpage or join our Facebook group to stay updated.
Thanks again for being part of this growing circle — it’s really meaningful to share this space together.
I joined initially, but all the privacy and quiet time I was supposed to have around the house that night vanished when the rest of the family’s plans were cancelled, so I wasn’t able to participate and ultimately, I dropped off the call. Hopefully next month will work out better. I am so grateful you are offering the remote opportunity and I will plan to see you next month.
Hi Kim!! Noted and I am so so grateful that you joined. We will do our best to make certain your experience is as awesome and meaningful as possible. In the future, if you ever care to share whatever you are working on with the group- that will be spectacular. Here is out facebook group to keep up to date.
I’m sorry I logged in late, because I missed the Druid discussion part. That’s what I would have been interested in. The group activity was something I couldn’t participate in, being online and not present. And honestly I couldn’t see what was Druidic about it.
(I’m really not a fan of Zoom calls anyway. I tend to get restless and have trouble staying focused. That’s my issue, not yours!)
Hello FisherKM,
No worries - in this type of round table we are working on the logistics of being online vs in person.
In general, our format is about 30 minutes of reflection and mediation, druid things. Then someone presents something for an hour on what they are working on : this can Druidic or adjacent . Then we have a talk and close it out .
I am Not certain where you joined - but it sounds like you were are the beginning of the personal work part. Which is different from solely Druidic things.
The next one will be around spell jars - if that is interesting to you, please join.
Thanks again. Stephen
