Over the last four centuries, the Western world has developed a set of perspectives that have fundamentally disenchanted the world—and part of what we can do as druids is seek to bring enchantment back into the world. An enchanted world is alive, spiritually responsive, and magical—it is a world full of spirits and natural intelligences that are yearning to rekindle ancient ancestral relationships with humans. An enchanted world was the world of our spiritual ancestors, the Ancient Druids, and this can be the relationship we cultivate with nature today. What does it mean to cultivate an “enchanted” druidry? In this workshop, we’ll explore enchantment through the elements, and participants will have a chance to explore and share.
