Oh well… I forgot the Zoom call once again. And now I can’t find the thread where people were describing how the ritual went for them. (Have I mentioned that I don’t like, or maybe don’t understand, the way this board is organized? I can’t find threads I’ve read before.) Maybe I subconsciously chose to forget it because I would have to admit it didn’t go all that well for me. I stumbled, I fumbled, I wasn’t feelin’ it. I could see everyone else loved it.
I’m mentioning this because maybe there’s someone else out there who didn’t have a great time with it, and is too embarrassed to say so. Next time I’ll be more careful about preparing and hopefully will be less self-concious. I don’t think it was an issue with the tree. It was me. I need to meditate on the structure and purpose of it to understand it better. I wasn’t relating to it as well as I needed to.
